Lip Blush Aftercare
-
Taking proper care of your lips after your Lip Blush treatment is essential for beautiful, long-lasting results. Please follow these guidelines closely during the healing.
⸻
✨ Days 1–7
• Moisturize:
Apply the recommended healing ointment (very thin layer) several times a day. Keeping the lips lightly moisturized prevents cracking and promotes proper healing.
• Avoid:
• Hot, spicy, salty, or acidic foods (these can sting and affect healing)
• Drinking directly from cups without a straw for the first 3–4 days
• Kissing or any friction on the lips
• Picking, peeling, or rubbing the lips
• Makeup, lip gloss, or lipstick
• Excessive sweating, steam, saunas, or swimming
• Direct sun exposure or tanning beds
• Cleaning:
After eating and cleaning teeth, gently clean your lips with a cotton pad and cool boiled water, Pat dry carefully, and reapply fresh balm.
⸻
✨ Days 7–14
• Lips may flake, peel, or lighten significantly—this is normal.
• Continue moisturizing lightly as needed.
• Do not pick or pull off dry skin.
• Colour will settle gradually as the skin regenerates.
⸻
✨ What to Expect During Healing
• Colour appears bright and bold for the first 24–48 hours.
• Lips may feel dry, tight, or slightly swollen.
• Around day 3–5, flaking/peeling occurs and colour may look much lighter.
• True healed colour appears between 4–6 weeks, and a touch-up may be needed for perfect results.
⸻
✨ Long-Term Care
• Use SPF lip balm daily to protect pigment and prevent fading.
• Avoid harsh exfoliants and strong active skincare near the lip line.
• Yearly refresh sessions help maintain soft, even lip colour.
