Brow Aftercare
-
Proper aftercare is essential to ensure your new brows heal beautifully and retain their colour and shape. Please follow these steps carefully during the healing process:
✨ First 48 Hours
• Gently wipe over your brows morning and night with a cotton pad and cool boiled water to absorb excess lymph fluid.
⸻
✨ Days 1–7
• Avoid:
• Water directly on the brows (no soaking, swimming, saunas, or steam)
• Makeup, lotions, or skincare products on or near the area
• Excessive sweating or exercise that causes heat and moisture
• Picking, scratching, or peeling any flakes or scabs
• Sun exposure or tanning beds
•Ointment:
Apply a very thin layer of your recommended aftercare ointment if your brows get itchy. Do not over-apply; the skin needs to breathe.
⸻
✨ Days 7–14
• Your brows may flake or lighten—this is normal.
• Continue avoiding picking or peeling.
• Continue avoiding heavy sweating, swimming, saunas, and sun exposure until fully healed.
⸻
✨ What to Expect During Healing
• Colour may appear darker the first few days, then soften as the skin heals.
• Mild itching, tightness, or flaking is normal.
• Final colour settles between 4–6 weeks, and then you come back between 6-8 weeks for your top up session.
⸻
✨ Long-Term Care
• Apply SPF daily to protect the colour and prevent fading.
• Avoid exfoliants and retinol directly on the brow area.
• Schedule annual refresh sessions to keep your brows looking their best.
